The Main Gallery is the
central exhibition hall where all the artists are represented by a thumbnail image
and a short biography. From the Main Gallery, you can access each artist's
portfolio page to find more work and information on the artist.
The images on display have been sent in by relatives of the artists or others who
may own the work or represent the artists' estates. If you possess artworks
by an artist who is no longer living, we invite you to send in an entry for
exhibition on this site. See the Entries section below.

We are looking for more work by artists who lived
and died in the United States during the 20th and 21st centuries. If you have work by such artists
that you are willing to share with the public please send in photos.
No fees are charged
for exhibiting an artist's work and no commissions are charged for
sales.

The Memorial Gallery of American Art is a
nonprofit digital gallery showing the artworks of artists and craftsmen who lived,
worked and died in the United States during the 20th and 21st
centuries. The purpose of this site is
to help disseminate information to the public about these artists
and thereby to help preserve their works. Read more about our aims and purposes in
